THE SURF REPORT:
Dashiell & Schneider Family Christmas Charter
Conditions: Air Temp in the 80s, Water Temp 80 Medium Surf! Great Diving! Great Guests! Too much fun!
CAPTAINS JOURNAL:
Journal Entry: Dale, Judy, Dough, Morgan, Jim, Joan, Jamie, Colby and Tanner hopped on board for a family Christmas Adventure. They boarded the Tiki in St. Thomas and after a day of surf we pulled anchor and headed for the BVIs. After checking in to Customs at Sopers Hole, Tortolla and touring the colorful waterfront, we headed off to explore the rest of the British Virgin Islands.
In Virgin Gorda everyone enjoyed exploring the Baths, a Geological wonder. Its an experience like no other.
We next stopped at Savannah Bay where Captain Stormy taught them a resort dive. The 80 degree crystal blue water and pure white sand made for a perfect learning experience, they were hooked.
Next we went on to snorkel the caves at Normans Cay where we were surrounded my thousands of small reef fish. Being a Sanctuary, the fish are as curious of you as you are of them. It made a perfect setting for some underwater photography.
Of course we had to pay a visit to Willy T's that evening , the floating boat bar that you arrive to by skiff. You gotta see it to believe it. A good time was had by all!
On Christmas Eve we had a great dinner and retired early so that Santa Claus could make his rounds. After another day of snorkeling and cruising we finally made time to open our little treasures. Thats all we needed to start the party. Judy had prepared goodie bags of party attire. After an incredible Christmas feast, we turned up the music, put on our dancing shoes (flip flops) and headed for the party deck. It was a night to remember in the Caribbean. It was a perfect Christmas Charter and everyone agreed they can't wait to do it again!
