Navy Barges St. Thomas & Botany Bay
THE SURF REPORT:
Great lobstering/spearfishing and fun head high surf. Air and water temp around 80.
CAPTAINS JOURNAL:
Collin, Jimmy, Stormy, Bev and I made a dive on the Navy Barges and scored big time. We snared 7 lobsters and I shot a gray snapper. We grilled the catch for the day on the back deck and had a feast! The next morning Collin, Dad and I went to Botany Bay for a surf and caught some really fun head high surf. Botany is a sick right hand reef point break that you can get 3 to 5 turns on and with a little more size there is some nice barrel sections.
