Apple Bay Tortolla, British Virgin Islands

THE SURF REPORT:
Head high with 2 foot overhead sets. Really fun and rippable. Air temp. in the mid 80's. Water temp. around 80.

CAPTAINS JOURNAL:
We surfed Apple Bay with 6-8 foot face. The waves were really fun and rippable. The lefts were a little faster, but the rights were longer. We surfed for 4 1/2 hours until our arms couldn't paddle anymore. You can't beat the crystal clear warm waters of the Caribbean. For most of the session we had it all to ourselves. We also had a great session the next morning in the head high range. We got word from a friend that happened to be out on Anagada that the surf was double overhead and reeling down the western end. Guess we should have been there. The spearfishing pics were taken off of St. Thomas. I shot the Lane Snapper with my first shot out of my brand knew speargun. Stoked! Stormy scored the 5 lb lobster with a snare. We had a great dinner! Captain Drex
