Cabo Matapalo6-8 foot faces breaking over some shallow rocks in certain places with good conditions

THE SURF REPORT:
6-8 foot faces breaking over some shallow rocks in certain places with good conditions Water temp mid 70’s Air temp mid 80’s

CAPTAINS JOURNAL:
Everybody including the Tiki Crew caught some fun waves at Matapalo. Our friend Dave Morse had an unfortunate experience and had to sit three sessions out due to a collision with a inside rock at Matapalo. Fortunately, he was able to catch some of the best waves of his trip after the injury in the same session. Unfortunately, I was not there with the camera. I shot some footage from the water with my underwater housing for the first session and then the second session I swam in and videoed from the beach. We spent the evening in Golfito to get out of the swell and get a good night sleep and then went back and surfed Matapalo at daybreak the next morning.
