ALL OVER THE US AND BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS!

THE SURF REPORT:
CHEST TO SHOULDER WITH AIR AND WATER TEMP AROUND 80. EPIC DIVING EVERY DIVE!

CAPTAINS JOURNAL:
This charter we had the pleasure of having some really great guests aboard. Ian and Ryan are two of my friends from Ocean City, Maryland. The list of our guests included: Nick, Ian & Ryan Weigner, Ians girlfriend Anne-Lauren Graham, Elia Pertsou and his girlfriend Aubrey Ludford and Tom Trilla. Kerry, who is Captain Stormys brother, flew in to give a hand cooking and having an epic time. Im not sure who had more fun, the crew or the guests aboard! I would have to say it was about equal. We started the trip out in St. Thomas and Ian, Ryan and Tom flew in 2 days early so that Ian and Ryan could get certified by a good friend of ours Vince Lauro. Vince also was Stormy and Is dive instructor who helped us obtain our Dive Master Certificate. He is the man if you want to get a certification. Elia, Nick and Anne flew in on Wednesday. We dove the two shallow Navy barges for Ian and Ryans 1st and 2nd certification dive and for their 3rd and 4th dive we dove the Super Market Reef off of Water Island and the Kennedy barge. We shot a couple of fish in the mix and had an awesome fish dinner. We also surfed Sprat the first two evenings. I then took everyone diving on the secret barge that is just loaded with fish to shoot and even a few lobsters to snare. Stormy took Elia and Kerry to Water Island and gave them a refresher course on diving. Basically they learned the 20 skills you need to know to get certified. On our secret barge dive I snared 2 nice lobsters and shot 2 fish and Tommy, Ryan and Ian shot a couple of fish also. Gotta have something fresh for dinners! That evening everyone went for a surfing at Sprat again, which is a fun right hand point reef break that usually has no one out. We scored some fun waves in the chest high range. Elia Tom and Anne were all learning to surf so it was good to have some smaller surf to work with. Also, you cant deny the crystal clear unusually warm waters of the Caribbean! We all went out on the town in Havensight, St. Thomas for a few drinks each night and had some interesting evenings to say the least! I am going to continue with the rest of the captains journal from this trip on the next update so stay tuned because this trip only gets better and better. This trip rocked! I will be updating more pics and verbage in the next couple of days. Captain Drex
