PAVONES

THE SURF REPORT:
HEAD HIGH WITH 2 FT OVERHEAD SETS AND FIRING!! 200 YARD LONG RIDES! A BIT CROWDED, BUT PLENTY OF WAVES TO GO AROUND. PICTURESQUE SCENERY. WATER IN THE UPPER 70'S AND AIR TEMPS IN THE MID 80'S.

CAPTAINS JOURNAL:
Pavones was on fire! The waves were 2 foot overhead on the sets and you could make the second section if you pumped real hard. The 3rd and 4th section was also breaking, but you couldn't make it that far from the peak. High performance waves that went forever! Loads of ripping and a great time had by all. P.S. Here is another sneak peak of Punta Burica. The rest of the pics from Punta Burica will be on the next update in 2 or 3 days, until then enjoy the Pavones Pics. Currently we have been stationed in Herradura Bay surfing the reef breaks nearby such as Playa Escondita and Little Fiji. Escondita has been consistently head high with overhead sets and really fun. I surfed Playa Hermosa this morning 4/6/04 with 6-8 foot faces and glassy fun conditions. Plenty more waves on the way. Don't wait any longer, come to Costa Rica and score some sick ones with the Tiki Crew!!! Captain Drex
